State Administration Council Member Daw Dwe Bu met Kachin State government members led by Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan at the Malikha Hall of the Kachin State government yesterday.
During the meeting, the SAC member
talked about the instructions of the SAC Chairman regarding the development
activities in Kachin State, holding of elections, enumeration of households and
census, awareness campaigns for all citizens of all ages to know the
Constitution, laws and rules aiming to abide by the law.
The chief minister then reported on
the 2024 household and census enumeration processes in the state starting from
1 October, a five-year plan for rice and cooking oil security, capital
investment for over 30,000 households with the first-year cycle of State
Economic Promotion Fund, second-year loan and imports of fuel and materials for
infrastructure development.
The SAC member heard attendees’
reports and gave proper instructions.
She also attended the coordination meeting of the Kachin State working
committee on rural development activities and subcommittees at noon.
During the meeting, she called for
the acceleration of work plans for transport, education, health, agriculture,
and livestock in border areas.
Afterwards, the state chief minister
and attendees reported on the completed work plans and ongoing work plans, and
the SAC member concluded the meeting.
