SAC Member inspects livestock breeding, MSME sector in Myitkyina

 

State Administration Council Member Daw Dwe Bu, accompanied by Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, inspected the implementation of an integrated farm system using capital investment of K1 million from the State Economic Promotion Fund in Nga-Oh model village of Myitkyina Township yesterday.

The SAC member and party also observed the paddy field, fruits and vegetables, and animals in the farmyard and provided agrochemicals for breeding and plantation.

They then checked the plantation of double-cropping soybean by the Agriculture Department and corn plantation on 2.5 acres of land by farmer U Soe Nyunt, Super One dairy cattle farming and distribution of dairy produce run by U Soe Nyein under the fund in Shwenyaungpin ward and TOP ready-made food production factory in Sitapu (Sutngaintaung) ward, and instructed proper actions to promote the local products.

At noon, the SAC member met members of the Kachin State cabinet and discussed conducting awareness programmes on legal affairs, holding general elections, developing the country’s development programmes, and enumerating households and censuses.

She also inspected the construction site of the new state Hluttaw building beside Sumprabum Road in the Mankhein ward of Myitkyina.
