Myanmar, Thailand officials collaborate on zoo master plan

 

According to the Yangon Zoological Gardens, officials from Myanmar and Thailand held a workshop at the Yangon Zoological Gardens to jointly develop a master plan for zoos in both countries.

The workshop, which took place in the Unit Office Meeting Room at the Yangon Zoological Gardens, focused on the creation of a master plan for the zoos in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Mandalay.

Among the participants were Dr Sumate Kamolnorranath and Dr Visit Arsaithamkul from ZPO (Thailand), as well as Dr Htun Myint from the Yangon Zoological Gardens, Dr Myat Thu from the Nay Pyi Taw Zoo, and Dr Thaw Thaw Linn from the Yadanabon Zoo.
