Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh attends meeting of Heads of Mission of ASEAN-Dhaka Committee

Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh, U Kyaw Soe Moe attended the 61st ASEAN-Dhaka Committee’s meeting of Heads of Mission held at the Thai Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 3 October.

During the meeting, the alternate chair, Thai Ambassador Mrs Makawadee Sumitmor reviewed the programmes that had already been implemented by the ASEAN-Dhaka Committee and discussed the future programmes.

Discussions also covered the upcoming ASEAN Family Day event, the status of ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between the relevant ASEAN countries and host country Bangladesh, as well as exchanging views on the current developments within the region and the country.

The Thai ambassador handed over the alternate chairmanship of the ASEAN-Dhaka Committee to the Vietnamese ambassador during the meeting.
