Myanmar chairs 74th IAI Task Force and 14th ASEAN Partners Consultation Meetings

 

PERMANENT Representative U Aung Myo Myint of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN chaired the 74th IAI Task Force Meeting and the 14th Consultation Meeting of the IAI Task Force-ASEAN Partners on 28-29 August held at the ASEAN Secretariat, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 28 August, the implementation status of IAI Work Plan IV (2021-2025) and the remaining projects under the work plan, as well as the continued formulation of the new work plan, were discussed at the 74th IAI Task Force Meeting. The IAI Task Force members from all ASEAN member countries and ASEC representatives from the IAI and NDG division attended the meetings.

On 29 August, matters related to the updated implementation status of IAI Work Plan IV, ASEAN Partners to support the remaining projects and formulation of the new work plan were discussed at the 14th consultation meeting of the IAI Task Force-ASEAN Partners. The IAI Task Force members from all ASEAN member countries, representatives from Timor-Leste to ASEAN, representatives from ASEAN partner countries, as well as Mr Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary General for ASEAN and representatives from IAI and NDG Division, attended the meeting.
