IF authorized overseas employment agencies are unable to do their functions, they should return their licences, Safe Migration said in a statement.
A few days ago, Safe Migration released a list of authorized overseas recruitment agencies which failed to submit monthly reports on sending workers for May 2024.
“It is better to return licences if they can’t complete their functions. It is annoying because we have to work with many agencies,” Safe Migration warned.
It added that agencies made no replies at all when the notification for the fine was issued. A monthly report on sending workers plays a critical role, so Safe Migration wants agencies to pay attention to it, it stated.
There are 565 authorized overseas job agencies according to data compiled until 9 June, the statement said.
