U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, participated in the Yoga Session organized by the Embassy of the Republic of India stationed in Yangon in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture of Myanmar to observe the 10th International Day of Yoga yesterday at the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.

Than Tun Oo, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, government officials from various
ministries, Indian Ambassador Mr Abhay Thakur and diplomats from the Embassy of
India as well as other invitees also participated in the Yoga session and
celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga altogether.
The
Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs then planted a
sapling of Mesua ferrea along with the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, the
deputy minister and the ambassador of India in commemoration of the 10th
International Day of Yoga at Marlini Lake Garden in Uppatasanti Pagoda.
