Bangladeshi ambassador calls on CBM Governor

 

GOVERNOR Daw Than Than Swe of the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) received Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar Dr Md Monwar Hossain at the meeting hall of the Central Bank of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

During the meeting, they frankly discussed continuing the direct payment process with Bangladesh taka/Myanmar kyat in order to develop bilateral trade and further upgrade the banking sector that supports the trade.

CBM deputy governors, the permanent secretary and officials also attended the meeting.
