STATE Administration Council Member Khun San Lwin, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, state ministers, the state attorney-general, Chairman U Aung San Oo of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone administration body, and state-level officials, held a meeting in Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone yesterday. The meeting was attended by township-level officials, indigenous cultural groups, and Pa-O entrepreneurs, and took place at the Hsaikhkawng Border Area Ethnic Development Youth Training School.
The delegation visited Zawana Monastery in Hsihseng, paying respects to the Sayadaw and making offerings. They also attended the inauguration of the new school building at Kantan Basic Education Post-Primary School in Hsaikhkawng village. This event was attended by the SAC member, the Shan State chief minister, state Security and Border Affairs minister, the chairman of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone administration body, and school officials. They marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tree planting.
The SAC member and party inspected the construction progress of the Kyuntaung-Kyauktalongyi-Nungyasain-Saikhao-Pon Creek-Maukmae road, where the director of the Road Department presented an update, and the SAC member provided necessary instructions.
Finally, SAC Member Khun San Lwin met U Aung Kham Hthi, the Patron of the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) in Kyauktalonggyi Township, enquiring about his health and presenting a portrait painting, medicine, and food items.
