Youth empowerment campaign continues in Nay Pyi Taw

 


THE Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs jointly held an awareness campaign on five kinds of strength for youths at No 6 BEHS in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint said on the occasion that youths should be perfect ones in terms of knowledge and skills. Therefore, the government is implementing an education system like a comprehensive education system to develop five essential strengths including knowledge and skills.

He then highlighted the missions of the literary talks and discussion and urged the students to be outstanding ones, and also teachers to be good mentors for the students.

During the talk show, Sayamagyi Daw May Kyawt Shin talked about the word of Mingalaba, the cultural greeting speech of Myanmar, the duties of students to ask the teachers what they want to know without hesitation and to read various literature to know what is right and what is wrong and also urged the students to avoid drugs and try hard to become outstanding students.

The event also features colourful photo contests “Hla Pa Thayar Pyi Myanmar”, a mobile library with books and journals to develop the five strengths of students, fun games of MRTV-4 artistes, the awarding section for winners and other fun activities for the students.
