THE second-day peace talks between the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC and the delegation of the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS was held yesterday morning at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw.
Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, Secretary of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC, and members, RCSS Secretary 1 Sao Sai Ngin, Central Executive Committee member Sao Saung Han and Central Steering Committee member Sao Sai Han attended the meeting.
During the meeting, both sides continued discussing and negotiating the issues that had not been completed on the first day of the meeting. After two days of discussions and negotiations, final agreements were signed, and NSPNC presented books on world affairs, Myanmar affairs, and ethnic affairs published by the Ministry of Information and gifts to the RCSS delegation.
