Myanmar MoH delegation leaves for Bangladesh

 

AT the invitation of the Bangla­deshi Government, a Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, left Yangon for Bangladesh yes­terday morning to attend the In­ternational Conference on Public Health and Diplomacy, which will be held on 11 and 12 July in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Union minister and del­egation were seen off by Mr A S M Sayem, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Bangladeshi Embassy and officials, and de­partmental officials from the Ministry of Health at the Yangon International Airport.

The Ministers of Foreign Af­fairs, Ministers of Health, deputy ministers, secretaries and inter­national public health experts from the Southeast Asian coun­tries such as Bangladesh, My­anmar, India, Bhutan, Thailand, Maldives, Nepal and the World Health Organization will attend the conference.
