THE coordination meeting on livestock farming development in Rakhine State was held at the state government office yesterday morning in Sittway.
At the meeting, the state chief minister stressed the importance of food security, education and healthcare services. He also said that, due to the close-up supervision of Union ministers, deputy ministers and senior Tatmadaw officers, rehabilitation tasks were successfully carried out in a short time.
Then, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi explained measures to be taken for the development of the livestock sector in Rakhine State. The secretary of the state government explained the measures to be taken for the rehabilitation of the livestock sector affected by the storm. MNA/ KZW
