TATMADAW families have to actively participate in rehabilitation tasks, said National Disaster Management Committee Chairman State Administration Council Vice-Chair Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win at the meetings with Tatmadaw members and families in Sittway ad Rathedaung stations yesterday.
Speaking
on the occasions, the Vice-Senior General said that as soldiers are serving
duties round the clock, they need to serve it without having to worry about
families. Hence, officials have to make arrangements for safety and food for
their families.
The
Vice-Senior General highlighted that manageable-scale agricultural and
livestock tasks must be undertaken at the relevant units this cultivation
season in accord with the instructions laid down. He promised to hand over the
necessary quality seeds of crops to them.
The
Vice-Senior General stressed the need to encourage school-age children to learn
for passing the at least KG+9 scheme as implementing the policy adopted by the
Prime Minister.
Families
need to take care of using clean drinking water to be free from diseases in the
aftermath of the storm.
Tatmadaw
families have to actively participate in rehabilitation tasks, he noted.
The
Vice-Senior General presented foodstuffs, cash assistance and seeds of
vegetables to Tatmadaw members, families and relief teams from relevant
stations.
The
Vice-Senior General also comforted Tatmadaw members and families receiving
medical treatment at the local medical battalion in Sittway and inspected the
hospital.
At
No 6 Basic Education High School in Sittway, the Vice-Senior General viewed the
learning of students and fulfilled the requirements of teachers.
