Youths have to join hands in nation-building tasks based on the fraternity of young age in accord with the saying “Today’s youths will be adults in the future”: Senior General

 


THE government of the State Administration Council in its tenure has adopted a point of the social objectives: To comprehensively promote the education sector to make it capable of producing the human resources necessary for building a modern, developed, and progressive democratic nation. The government is striving for strengthening the human resources of the State to secure achievement in all sectors so as to ensure high morality of youths, vitalize patriotic spirit and forge a cooperative spirit through the team spirit. If so, the future State will have continuous progress with utmost efforts of the human resources, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting with trainees and instructors from basic and advanced maritime youth course 1/2023 and basic senior and junior aviation youth course 1/2023 at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

 



In his speech, the Senior General noted that the trainees will have a chance to accumulate knowledge during the training period as well as promote fraternity among them. Youths have to join hands in nation-building tasks based on the fraternity of young age in accord with the saying goes: “Today’s youths will be adults in the future”.

The Senior General urged all trainees to apply experiences obtained from the training courses in the society. Trainees have known that the governments which possess coastal lines are conducting research on maritime and aviation subjects in order to enhance defence capacity as well as national interests. Strengthening the defence capacity contributes to the development of the nation on one hand.

If every country cannot shape its future despite plentiful natural resources, development momentum will delay. Only when the country has human resources to efficiently utilize the sound foundations will the State economy unprecedentedly boom.

As they are born in the country, they have to understand the history of the motherland comprehensively. They have to know the histories of the country and the Tatmadaw are interrelated and they have to do continuous learning so as to wipe off pessimistic attitudes of local and foreign destructionists.

The Senior General presented gifts to the trainees who respectfully returned the gifts.

Ma Kay Zin Thwe of the maritime youth course and Ma Nang Mo Kham of the aviation youth course recounted their experiences in the training courses.

The Senior General and party gave a tea party to the trainees and the Myawady entertainment troupe presented songs. The Senior General and party cordially greeted the trainees and instructors and posed for documentary photos.

Before the ceremony, the trainees viewed round arms produced by the Myanmar Tatmadaw, uniforms and communication devices used in Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), scale models of naval vessels of the Tatmadaw (Navy), naval equipment, scale models of aircraft and helicopters used by the Tatmadaw (Air), pilot uniforms and equipment, and flying of planes with the use of simulators.
