Public Notice for Submitting Objection

 

1. Under Section 5 of the Political Parties Registration Law, the Democratic Party, with its headquarters located at No 42, Pyidaungsu Lane, Saya San North (Western Ward), Bahan Township, Yangon Region, submitted an application to the Union Election Commission on 18-5-2023 that the party’s name, flag and emblem will be used as described.

2. Therefore, those who want to object to the mentioned party name, flag and emblem that will be used by the Democratic Party can object to the Union Election Commission with valid evidence within seven days from the date of this announcement. It is announced to the public under Rule 14 (d) of the Registration of Political Parties.
