MoRAC Union Minister holds talks w ith Russian Orthodox Archbishop

 

UNION Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko met a delegation led by His Eminence Sergiy, Russian Or­thodox Archbishop for Met­ropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia, yesterday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw.

They frankly and cordially discussed matters related to the construction of a Russian Orthodox Church in Yangon and further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries through religious and cultural coop­eration.

The meeting was also at­tended by the deputy minister, the permanent secretary, the directors-general and respon­sible officials with the Minis­try of Religious Affairs and Culture.
