UNION Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr Thida Oo along with Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials attended the opening ceremony of the new building of Myeik District and Township Law Office on the morning of 7 April.
First, Union Minister and Union Attorney General, the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister, Regional Economic Affairs Minister U Maung Gyi, and Regional Advocate-General U Ohn Than cut the ribbon and opened the new office building.
The four-storey new Myeik District and Township Law Office building is 44 feet long and 59 feet wide.
It was built by Naung Yoe Myanmar Development Company Limited with K452.214 million from the capital fund of the Office of the Taninthayi Region Advocate-General.
The Union Minister met law officers and staff in Taninthayi region, while the Regional Advocate-General explained the operations of the region. The Union Minister stressed the need for law officers to serve their duties without corruption.
