UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn viewed round manufacturing and sales of Smart brand shirts at the garment factory (PyinOoLwin) of Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd yesterday afternoon.
The factory installed with
Korea-made machinery in 2015 to manufacture export quality products distributes
products to local department stores and others at fair prices through
retail/wholesale system, earning the profits on a yearly basis. At Pwekauk
Waterfalls (BE Falls), the Union minister cordially greeted the people who took
relaxation on the Sunday holiday.
The Union Minister and party
took the sky cable car. Officials reported that a total of 36
four-person-capacity sky cable cars were installed along 553.642 metres long
cables which are 34.8 metres high. A round trip takes 24 minutes. Fare for the
trip is set at K5,000 per passenger. Some 10,000 people take the cable car on
office holidays and some 450 on weekdays.
The Union Minister viewed the
people walking on the glass bridge and elephant show, public relaxation and
plays of children.
Pwekauk Waterfalls was built on
about 50 acres of land with landscapes and other facilities meeting the
international standard.
At Mingalar (Mandalay) advanced
housing development project, the Union minister inspected construction progress
of the project, special sales of Mandalay Region Chambers of Commerce and
Industry.
The project implemented as from
2012 was completed in 2015. Although all separate housings, condo apartments
and housing shops have been sold, rental houses will be rented for opening offices.
The hotel service started in the post-Covid-19 period. New Star Light Company
gives services for security, cleaning, landscaping, health and maintenance in
the project area.
