Commander-in-Chief (Air)-led delegation attends 19th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference

THE Myanmar delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung that arrived in Laos for the 19th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference – 19th AACC met with Laos Air Chief Brig- Gen Khamlek Sengphachanh, Brig-Gen Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim of Brunei and Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vann­arot of Thailand separately on 3 November. During the meeting, they discussed closer coopera­tion between air forces of their nations for humanitarian assis­tance natural disaster preven­tive measures and combatting terrorism.

On 4 November, Myanmar delegates attended the 19th AACC and the ASEAN Air Chiefs dis­cussed the topic of “Together for Peace and Stability of ASEAN”.

Then, Laos Air Chief trans­ferred the ASEAN Air Chief Conference Chairmanship for the 20th AACC 2023 to Myanmar.
