THE Information Team of the State Administration Council has released statements inviting CDM staff, students and youths, who are in border areas and ethnic armed groups, they can contact the nearest reception centres in border areas, Tatmadaw units and police stations if they want to enter the legal fold and the government will guarantee their lives following the rules and regulations.
In order to
prevent the unnecessary loss of human resources, the State Administration
Council has publicly invited the basic education staff who are absent from duty
to resume their duties and those who take part in armed resistance under
various names of groups, including PDFs. Meanwhile, 3,156 education workers,
who were absent from their duties, another 1,009 people, who want to withdraw
the cases that were opened against them, and 231 PDF members have contacted and
returned to the legal fold. Then, they were given back to their parents
systematically and the numbers of people who enter the legal fold and those who
wish to are rising. Therefore, the government is making efforts to accept more
numbers of those people.
The
government opens reception centres in border areas for those who would like to
return to the legal fold. Moreover, those wishing to return home can contact
respective townships’ Red Cross Society, Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare
Association, Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation, Social Welfare Office and
social welfare organizations authorized by the Ministry of Social Welfare,
Relief and Resettlement. It is guaranteed that they will be able to lead their
daily lives peacefully.
