DOMESTIC petrol prices dropped below K2,000 per litre, according to the statement issued by the Supervision Committee for Import and Distribution of Petroleum on 7 July.
On 7 July in Yangon, the price of 92 Ron was K1,835 per litre, 95 Ron K1,955 per litre, HSD (500 pm) K2,195 per litre, HSD (50 ppm) K2,225 per litre and HSD (10 ppm) K2,225 per litre.
In Mandalay, the price of 92 Ron was K1,880 per litre, 95 Ron K2,000 per litre, HSD (500 pm) K2,240 per litre, HSD (50 ppm) K2,270 per litre and HSD (10 ppm) K2,270 per litre.
In Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, the price of 92 Ron was K1,875 per litre, 95 Ron K2,000 per litre, HSD (500 pm) K2,240 per litre, HSD (50 ppm) K2,270 per litre and HSD (10 ppm) K2,270 per litre.
Reference wholesale prices for Yangon and Mandalay and reference retail prices for regions and states, including Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, are set and issued by the Supervision Committee for Import and Distribution of Petroleum. It is also learned that consumers can file complaints to the committee if there is any inconvenience in petrol purchase.
