MYANMAR citizens who returned from Thailand are accepted back through the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady as of 1 August 2021 and a total of 284 Myanmar citizens returned home on 9 July.
Those Myanmar nationals were
welcomed back by officials from Myawady District. Then, the officials and staff
from the relevant departments are taking necessary action such as providing a
COVID-19 awareness talk, collecting the information of the returnees, sending
them to the quarantine centres in Myawady and Mawlamyine townships and detecting
the COVD-19 test at the public health department. After having those processes,
they were transported to their respective states and regions.
A total of 284 returnees—200 males
and 84 females—from states and regions came back home.
