Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win pays homage to remains of State Ovadacariya Shwethuwun Sayadaw

 

 

PRESIDING Nayaka of Pon­nya Neinmitayama Shweth­uwun Monastery in Kyeep­waryay Ward in Thingangyun Township of Yangon Region State Ovadacariya Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Sad­dhammajotika Bhaddanta Saddhiya passed away at 1:40 am on 21 May 2022 (Saturday).

The remains of the Sayad­aw are being kept at Ponnya Neinmitayama Shwethuwun Monastery. Yesterday morn­ing, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Dep­uty Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Command­er-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Sen­ior General Soe Win and party paid homage to the remains of the Sayadaw and made cash donation.

The Vice-Senior Gener­al and party paid homage to Ovadacariya Sayadaws of the Final Rites Organizing Com­mittee, supplicated plans to hold the final rites and fulfilled the needs.
