Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman attends Nay Pyi Taw Council Investment Committee (2/2022) Meeting

 

NAY Pyi Taw Council Investment Committee (2/2022) Meeting was held at 10 am yesterday at Nay Pyi Taw Council Meeting Hall.

First, Nay Pyi Taw Council Investment Committee Chairman Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr Maung Maung Naing discussed the response to the Myanmar Investment Commission’s request to Nay Pyi Taw Council for comments on agricultural investment.

“It is necessary to have a roundtable discussion in Union Territory in Nay Pyi Taw on the need for investment promotion and facilitation in the region,” Dr Maung Maung Naing said.

He urged them to focus on coordinating on the difficulties investors face in expanding the business.

Next, Director Daw Yin Yin Nwe from the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Nay Pyi Taw, discussed rice production of MAYLP Agriculture Co., Ltd. through a joint venture farming system and to be able to submit an opinion to the Myanmar Investment Commission on the proposal to allow the production and export of rice and broken rice.

Detailed explanations were made regarding the permission to issue the approval for the extension of the construction period of the new Kaba Shwe Pyi Tan Co., Ltd., which is engaged in the production, distribution and sale of bricks.

Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Zeyar Lin and committee members discussed the relevant issues.

After that, Nay Pyi Taw Council Investment Committee Chairman and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr Maung Maung Naing made a concluding remark at the meeting.
