A combined inspection team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined Wai Yan Lin (aka) Shai Wai Yan on Ayeyeikmon street of Aungthukha Ward in Myeik Township at 6:30 am on 13 May and captured 2,800 stimulant tablets and 0.01 kilogramme of Ice.
Similarly, at 7:00 am on the same
day, Police seized Zayar Phyo (aka) Phyu Tone with a motorbike at the same
place. According to examination, the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a house of
Tin Ko Ko (aka) Naung Pyout in Kalwin village of Myeik Township and seized
2,000 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 8:10 pm on 12 May,
Police stopped and searched a Crown car driven by Yan Naing on the
Loilen-Taunggyi Road near the tollgate in Loilen Township and seized 540,000
stimulant tablets.
They are prosecuted under the
Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the Myanmar Police Force
stated.
