Union Minister for International Cooperation receives Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

 

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 3:00 pm on 6 April 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, the Union Minister congratulated the Ambassador for having been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

They cordially exchanged views on the further enhancement of bilateral ties, expansion of multi-sectoral cooperation and collaboration between the two countries in both regional and multilateral arenas and promotion of bilateral trade. They also discussed matters related to rendering humanitarian assistance for resettlement of the displaced persons from Rakhine State.
