THE final match and prize presentation ceremony for the Inter- State/Region U-25 Women’s Football Tournament organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs took place at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon under the COVID-19 restrictions, attended by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.

State and Shan State played in the final match, watched by the Senior General
and wife, council members and spectators.
At the prize presentation ceremony, SAC member U Shwe Kyein presented medal and cash award of the best goalkeeper award to Ma Toe Yadana Su of Rakhine State, SAC member U Saw Daniel the best defender award to Ma Phyu Phway of Shan State, SAC member Mahn Nyein Maung the best player of the tournament to Ma Hla Mrat Thu of Rakhine State, SAC member U Moung Har the best midfielder award to Ma Ingyin Hmwe of Mon State and SAC member Jeng Phang Naw Taung the best forward award to Ma Nang Phyu Phyu Thwe of Shan State, respectively.

Yangon Region team, SAC member Admiral Tin Aung San, individual medals and cash
award to the third prize winner Mon State, SAC member Daw Aye Nu Sein
individual medals and cash award to the second prize winner Shan State and SAC
member General Mya Tun Oo individual medals and cash award to the first prize
winner Rakhine State, respectively.
The Senior General and wife presented the cash award and championship trophy to champions Rakhine State.
A total of 289 players from 13 football teams participated in the Inter-State/Region U-25 Women’s Football Tournament from 7 to 21 January 2022.
Among the spectators were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and wife, Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union U Than Kyaw and Chairman of the Union Election Commission U Thein Soe, Union ministers and their wives, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council and deputy ministers.
