Myanmar delegation attends ASEAN+3 meeting of 143rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

 

THE Parliament of Viet Nam hosted the ASEAN+3 meeting of the 143rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly online yesterday.

Director-General U Kyaw Kyaw Naing of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Director-General Dr Myat Soe of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office and other officials joined the event together with other ASEAN+3 Parliament members countries.

During the meeting, the host country made an opening speech. The leaders then approved the meeting procedures and meeting minutes of the ASEAN+3 meeting held in April 2021, substituted the vacant positions during the 143rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, nominated for Drafting Committee on the Emergency Item and also approved the chairmanship country of 2022 ASEAN+3 meeting.
