HEALTHCARE officials gave second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to local people at Sandagu Hall in No.3 Basic Education High School in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State, yesterday.
Healthcare
workers, members of the fire brigade, and volunteers assisted in the
vaccination programme and transportation for the vaccinated people were
arranged after the vaccination programme.
During
the vaccination, healthcare workers and officials made records for the
vaccinated people.
Next,
volunteers and healthcare workers measured the body temperature before
vaccination.
Vaccines
were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal
health conditions are vaccinated, officials said.
In
Kyaukpyu Township, the first vaccination was given on 1 August and the second
vaccination on 29 August.
A
total of 4,930 people were vaccinated for the second time between 29 August and
11 September.
On
12 September, monks and nuns from urban areas and village-tracts, elderly
people, civil servants and local people received the COVID-19 vaccines,
officials said.
