Union Attorney-General receives HCCH Secretary-General

UNION Attorney-General U Tun Tun Oo received Dr Christophe Bernasconi, the Secretary-General of the Asia and Pacific Region Branch of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed how private international law would assist the development of Myanmar’s investment and trade sectors, cooperation between UAG Office and HCCH to develop the human resource necessary for handling international civil and trade lawsuits, and potential for Myanmar to join HCCH’s conventions.
