Shaw Brothers Pictures to take major scenes of Line Walker-2 in Yangon


SHAW BROTHERS Pictures International Ltd. is reported to take major scenes of Line Walker-2, a sequel to their very successful Line Walker movie, in Yangon soon.

A coordination meeting to shoot the movie was held at Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon where Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint delivered an opening speech.
The Union Minister said Hong Kong’s famous company Shaw Brothers Pictures International Ltd. is making an international level movie and is seen as promoting the image of the country.
Myanmar audience will be interested and like to see first-hand how movies are made in urban areas. At the same time, care must be taken so that the people are not disturbed or difficulties created for them. Special care and attention is required so that race and religion are not affected. Entry and exit of movie production team, proper import and export of shooting equipment, arms, explosives and related materials must be systematically and properly conducted according to prevailing laws and rules.
Afterwards, Information and Public Relations Department Director General U Ye Naing explained about sector wise programs and processes to shoot Line Walker-2 and Yangon Synthesis Productions Co., Ltd. Managing Director U Min Soe Thiha and officials from Shaw Brothers Pictures International Ltd. explained about the movie shooting process.
Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun and Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung then coordinated on the requirements.
