A CEREMONY to sign
agreement with private businesses to print 2019-2020 Academic Year school text
books was held at the Ministry of Information meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw
yesterday morning.
At the ceremony, School
Textbook Tender Accepting and Assessment Committee Chairman Deputy Minister for
Information U Aung Hla Tun and Committee Vice Chairman Deputy Minister for
Education U Win Maw Tun delivered opening speeches on printing quality school
text books in a timely manner.
Next, tender winning
companies, presses, business persons and representative discussed and
coordinated on possible difficulties that can be faced.
Afterwards, committee
secretary 1 Ministry of Information Printing and Publishing Department Director
General U Myo Myint Maung, committee secretary 2 Ministry of Education
Department of Basic Education Director General U Ko Lay Win, business persons
and representatives of Myanmar Printers and Publishers Association, Upper
Myanmar Printers and Publishers Association, Excellent Printers Group (EPG) and
Hnit Thit Oo Company signed the school textbook printing agreement.
Present at the event
were officials from Ministry of Information and Ministry of Education, School
Textbook Tender Accepting and Assessment Committee members, business persons
from printing presses and companies and invited guests.
