UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement
Dr. Win Myat Aye provided cash assistance to the social organizations,
philanthropic organizations and elderly in Zigon, Bago Region, yesterday.
At the meeting, the Union Minister presented K3.756 million
to Shwe Sal Wati Home For The Aged, K3.609 million to Nattalin Home For The
Aged, and K3.168 million to Zingon Home For The Aged through officials
concerned.
He also handed over K23.799 million for Min Kyaung Youth
Development Center, K11.448 million for Thinkha Rai youth development center
and K4.035 million for Letpadan youth development center to the officials.
Under the social pension scheme, the Union Minister presented
K8.88 million for 296 disabled persons, social pension provision K16.5 million
for the 550 elderly aged above 85 and K3.578 million for opening Mother Cycles
(day nurseries) to the officials.
The Union Minister and party then inspected the construction
of Thayawady District Disaster Management Department in Thayawady.
