The Htilin Township Rural Development Department has provided solar panels to seven villages in the township, Gangaw District on 2 December.
The program was part of the scheme of the National Electrification Project.
The solar power is to benefit 656 houses, 7 monasteries, 2 high schools, 4 middle schools, 1 primary school, 4 rural health care centres and electrify 58 lamp posts in the township.
The ceremony to hand over the solar panels was witnessed by Magway Region Hluttaw Representative Daw Yin Yin Aung and Township administrator U Min Teihdih.
