State Counsellor attends K-Wind Soul Beat in Nay Pyi Taw



State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi attended a Korean traditional performance titled “K-Wind Soul Beat” at the MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The performance was conducted in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the 30th Anniversary of the ROK-ASEAN Dialogue Relations in 2019.
The performance was also attended by Union ministers and their wives, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and his wife, senior military officers, deputy ministers, Hluttaw representatives, departmental officials, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar and embassy staff and officials and staff of the ministries.
The State Counsellor was welcomed by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar Mr. Lee Sang-hwa and wife.
Before the concert, the Korean Ambassador extended greetings.
Afterwards, the State Counsellor, Union Ministers, the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, the Ambassador of Korea and wife posed for documentary photos.
Following this, they enjoyed the traditional performance of Korean artistes.
