The Myanmar delegation led by U Kyaw Tint Swe, Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor, attended the 73rd United Nations General Assembly in New York on 25 September.
The Myanmar delegation comprises Union Minister for
International Cooperation U Kyaw Tint Swe, Union Minister for International
Cooperation U Kyaw Tin, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to UN U Hau Do Suan
and Myanmar Ambassador to US U Aung Lin. The assembly was opened with speeches
by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the chair of the assembly Mrs.
María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés. Leaders from 31 countries, including US
President Donald Trump, delivered speeches on the first day of the assembly.
Union Minister U Kyaw Tint Swe will deliver a speech at the annual UN General
Assembly on 28th September. Leaders from UN-member 193 countries are attending
the assembly, which will end on 1 October.
