According
to the (15:30) hrs MST observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at
Mawlaik is observed as about (2½) feet below its danger level. It may reach its
danger level during the next (2) days.
It
is especially advised that people who have settled near the river bank and low
lying areas at Mawlaik Township, to take precaution measure.
