Senior General receives Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar

 

The Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, received Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Ichiro Maruyama yesterday at the Bayint Naung Guesthouse in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting they discussed increasing the friendship between the armed forces of the two countries, assistance provided by Japan toward Myanmar’s development, Japan’s participation and assistance in work conducted by the Myanmar government and Tatmadaw on resolving problems in Rakhine State Buthidaung and Maungtaw region, and requirements in informing the international community about the true situation in the country.
