The
Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) is working with the Department of Health to
help displaced people who were affected by the recent unrest in northern
Rakhine State, according to a report yesterday by the Myanmar News Agency.
Displaced
people are being evacuated to safety, treated for injuries, illneses and mental
trauma and provided with necessary supplies, including hygiene goods, food and
water.
