Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than received General Secretary
of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Socialist Republic of Viet
Nam Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong yesterday afternoon at the hall of Amyotha Hluttaw in
Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting addressed Myanmar-Viet Nam cooperation, including between the two nations’ parliaments. Present at the meeting were Deputy Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw U Aye Tha Aung, chairmen of Amyotha Hluttaw Permanent Committees, chairman, secretary and members of the Myanmar-Viet Nam parliamentary friendship group and other officials.
