Vice President U Henry Van Thio arrives in New York

Vice President U Henry Van Thio landed in New York City yesterday to attend the 3rd UN Special Thematic Session on Water and Disasters.

U Hau Do Suan, Permanent Representative of Myanmar, welcomed the Vice President at John F Kennedy International Airport.

Afterwards, the Vice President attended a lunch hosted at the Myanmar Embassy then continued on to the Lexington New York Hotel where he will be staying for the duration of his trip.
