Union Ministries and Rakhine State Gov’t coordination meeting held

Coordination meeting between Union Ministries and Rakhine State Government was held at Rakhine State Government office in Sittway yesterday afternoon.

Rakhine State Minister for Finance, Revenue Planning, and Economy U Kyaw Aye Thein gave an opening speech and Director-General U Htay Hlaing, Immigration Department, Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population explained about work procedures on working with the state government. U Nay Win, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, U Aung Kyaw, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Border Affairs, Dr. Than Htut, Deputy Director-General, Ministry of Health and Sports and Dr. Sai  Kyaw Naing Oo, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Education explained about the respective ministries work on policy matters and coordination work with the state government.

Rakhine State Government secretary U Tin Maung Swe discussed in detail on state government works including matters of birth list, household certificate, work difficulties commonly occurring between union ministries and state government, quick implementation of matters submitted by state government to union ministries and timely response by union ministries in providing guidance to matters submitted by state government to which respective officials of the union ministries attending the meeting discussed and clarified in detail. Rakhine State Minister for planning, finance, Revenue and economy U Kyaw Aye Thein gave a closing note. The meeting was attended by State Minister of Development Affairs U Min Aung, State Minister of Chin Ethnic Affairs U Pon Bway, State Auditor-General Daw Yin Hla, officials and media.
