A fire broke out
in Zedi Pyin village in Yathedaung Township, Rakhine State yesterday at 10 pm,
destroying a religious building.
Arphaut Tullah,
who took action as a security guard in the village, informed the head of
one-hundred households after he saw the fire.
The fire
destroyed religious books and four carpets worth Ks50,000. The blaze was put
out by villagers.
Local police are
investigating.
