PRESIDENT’S Office Union Minister U Tin Aung San attended a reception to mark Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel Yangon yesterday.

Howishan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Myanmar, and officials warmly welcomed
Union Minister U Tin Aung San and other guests.
Theceremony opened with the
national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Saudi Arabia,
followed by speeches by the Ambassador and Union Minister U Tin Aung San.
The Union minister and the
ambassador then cut a ceremonial cake to commemorate Saudi Arabia’s 96th
National Day and posed for a group photo with the attendees, after which the
ambassador hosted a dinner for the guests.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy
Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw, Yangon Region Minister for
Social Affairs U Bo Htay, Yangon Region Development Affairs Minister and Yangon
Mayor U Myo Myint Aung, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
ambassadors, chargés
d’affaires, military attachés, UN resident coordinators and
invitees.
