Navy Chief visits PLA warships

 

THE destroyer Tang Shan, the frigate Da Qing and the replenishment warship Tai Hu of the 48th PLA Navy Escort Task Group (ETG) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) (Navy), which are on a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, arrived at the MITT Jetty in Thilawa Port, Yangon, while a team led by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win visited the warships yesterday afternoon.

First, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) arrived at the MITT Jetty in Thilawa Port, Yangon and was welcomed by Senior Captain Xu Fang, the leader of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (Navy) and officials. Then, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) received a salute from the ship’s assigned forces on board the destroyer Tang Shan.

Afterwards, the warship’s leader and officials gave a briefing on the vessels, exchanged souvenirs, and took a group photo.

The Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and his team then boarded the frigate Da Qing and the replenishment warship Tai Hu, where officials gave a briefing on the vessels.
