MoFA Dy Minister receives IOM delegation

 

DEPUTY Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw received a delegation led by Ms Ugochi Daniels, Deputy Director-General for Operations, IOM Headquarters in Geneva, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

Ms Ugochi Daniels expressed her sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for facilitating enhanced cooperation between the relevant Ministries and the IOM. Moreover, they discussed and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and the IOM.

Also present at the meeting were Mr Iori Kato, Regional Director for IOM Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, Mr Daihei Mochizuki, Chief of Mission of IOM in Myanmar and the respective officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
