Rehabilitation plans discussed in Chin State

 

Deputy Minister for Construction U Myo Myint and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee met state-level departmental officials in Haka yesterday to discuss rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts.

The deputy minister stressed the need for close coordination across all sectors, with priority given to rehabilitation and reconstruction in Tedim, Tonzang and Falam. He highlighted the restoration and construction of government offices, hospitals and schools, as well as the development of MSMEs, cooperative systems, agriculture and livestock, adding that the committee would work closely with state departments to support the development of the three townships.

Departmental officials reported on completed work and ongoing plans. The deputy minister called for the timely implementation of projects and instructed officials to work closely with religious leaders and township and village administrators to coordinate and supervise rehabilitation efforts.
