FOR ordinary passport holders, the agreement between Myanmar and Belarus on mutual visa exemption will take into effect on 8 July. Under the agreement, citizens of the two countries can travel without visa requirement and a 30-day stay will be allowed in each travel.
The visa
exemption aims to help the tourism development of the two countries and
strengthen the bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and other sectors.
Belarus
President Alexander Lukashenko is also planning a second visit to Myanmar
within eight months since the first visit, according to the government
statement. During his visit, he is expected to strengthen the bilateral
cooperation in trade, business, technology and diplomatic sectors.
