Illegal scam building demolished in Shwe Kokko

 

A six-storey illegal building used for online scams and gambling activities in the Shwe Kokko area of Myawady Township, Kayin State, has been systematically demolished, bringing the total number of demolished illegal buildings to 70.

Authorities have been conducting joint operations to demolish illegal buildings and destroy equipment used for online scams and gambling activities in the Shwe Kokko and KK Park areas. Of the 77 targeted buildings in Shwe Kokko, 57 have been demolished using machinery, while 20 have been destroyed through controlled demolition.

The remaining seven illegal buildings will also be demolished systematically, according to reports.
